Our Mission Statement is very important to us and a vital part of how we structure our daily activities.
It is as follows: “Son” Shine Learning Center Weekday Preschool is a mission of First Baptist Church. We are committed to providing children with a safe and nurturing environment while guiding them to a strong sense of self and gentle Christian conscience through creative arts, music, and age-appropriate curriculum.
At the very core of this preschool program is a desire to see each child grow in their understanding of how they are loved and valued by God.
It is our goal to strengthen what you, as parents, have begun by helping your child find joy and peace in experiencing God’s love.
Our curriculum offers a wide variety of activities to broaden each child’s creativity.
Our classrooms are large which allows each student the opportunity to make choices, explore with their whole bodies, and learn through play.
We provide chances to work alone or work in a group, indoor and outdoor activities, active and quiet moments, and listening and talking opportunities, and music and computer classes. We also explore Bible stories which strengthen our understanding of patience, friendship and kindness.
